Delta Region Meeting

Title: Finding Financial Improvements in a Faltering Economy
Presenters: Kathy Kirchhoff, Sr. VP for Senior Health and Housing, Cain Brothers
Patti Garibaldi, Director of Clinical Services, Consonus Healthcare
Babak Amali, RVP of Therapy Operations, Consonus Healthcare

If your success is influenced by external factors that continue to be in flux such as the housing market, the stock market, and access to favorably priced capital (typical business drivers for the CCRC setting), perhaps the time is right to rethink other areas of operations where you have more control, and consider alternative strategies of revenue enhancement.

In conjunction with an overview of the financial environment and the impact on the Senior Housing Market, we will highlight SNF operational strategies that can influence and enhance revenue. The revenue enhancement component will focus on two primary areas (rehab and nursing).

Question and answer follows with a discussion on what housing, CCRC's, assisted living and skilled nursing communities are doing to survive in this economy.
